Vailgrid Privacy Policy

Vailgrid builds local-first software. Our baseline approach is to keep product data on your device, avoid accounts for core app use, and avoid selling personal data.

Information We Collect

Vailgrid products are designed so user-created content, preferences, study progress, cycle logs, and workspace state are stored locally by default. We do not operate an advertising profile system and do not sell personal information.

Platform Diagnostics

Apple, Google, or Microsoft may provide crash reports, performance diagnostics, installation details, or transaction information when those features are enabled by the platform or your device settings. Those providers process that information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Feedback and Website Contact

When you submit the website feedback form, Vailgrid receives the details you provide, such as your name, email address, product, category, page URL, and message. Feedback submissions are stored in Vailgrid's Cloudflare D1 database for review and may also be sent by email to the Vailgrid inbox.

The feedback form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam. Cloudflare may process request details needed to provide the spam-prevention service under its own terms and privacy policy. Vailgrid may store a hashed form of request metadata to help identify abuse without keeping the raw IP address in the feedback database.

How Information Is Used

Local product data is used to provide the app features you choose to use. Optional diagnostic information and feedback, when available, are used to understand crashes, improve reliability, answer requests, and prioritize product work.

Your Choices

You can delete locally stored product data by deleting the app or using product-level delete controls when available. You can control platform diagnostics through your device settings. You may request deletion of a feedback submission by contacting Vailgrid from the email address used in the submission.
