Luovo Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy explains how Vailgrid handles data for the Luovo mobile app. It supplements the shared Vailgrid Privacy Policy. Luovo is a menstrual cycle tracking app designed around on-device storage. Predictions and insights are informational only; Luovo is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Data Luovo Handles
Luovo can store personal and sensitive health data that you choose to enter, including period and cycle dates, flow, symptoms, mood, notes, contraceptive or pill tracking, reminder settings, app settings, language, privacy preferences, and import or export data. If you use account or sync features, Luovo may also process your account email and selected app data needed to provide cross-device access.
On-Device Storage
Luovo stores tracking data on your device by default. Core tracking works without an account. Your cycle data is not sold and is not used for advertising.
Optional Sync and Accounts
If you choose to sign in or enable sync, selected app data may be sent to the configured Supabase sync provider so you can access it across devices. Network services use encrypted transport. If sync is not enabled, local tracking data remains on your device unless you export, share, or otherwise choose to move it.
Diagnostics and Store Data
The Android release does not enable Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics. Google Play processes purchases and subscription status. Health entries, notes, and cycle details are not intentionally included in crash reports or purchase verification.
Advertising and Pro
An ad-enabled Android build may show Google AdMob banners to free users after its consent flow allows ad requests. Google may process advertising identifiers, device information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and IP addresses that can indicate approximate location under its own policies. This SDK processing supports advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention; it is separate from Firebase Analytics, which is disabled. Banner requests are non-personalized. Requests are suppressed while age eligibility or consent is unresolved, or for people under 16. Eligible teens receive Google's age-restricted treatment. Only an age band is stored, not a birthday; you can change it and revisit consent in Advertising privacy. Luovo does not send cycle dates, symptoms, notes, or other health entries to AdMob. New in-app purchases are unavailable in the ads-only release. Existing ad-free entitlements remain honored. Google Play handles existing subscriptions. The server processes a purchase token, product, status, expiry, and account association to verify access, restore purchases, and prevent replay. See the Pro subscription terms.
Device features
Reminders and widgets use your selected settings on the device. Widgets hide cycle details by default. You can allow details in Settings; enabling the app lock hides those details again. Tapping a widget opens Luovo through its normal app-lock check. System notifications or widgets may be visible to someone using your device. Device security and biometric verification remain controlled by the operating system.
Retention and Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, import replacement data, or uninstall the app. You can export your data and clear local data from Luovo settings when those features are available in your installed version.
If you create an account, you can delete the account from the in-app profile screen. If you cannot access the app, request deletion through the Luovo support page or email [email protected] with the subject "Luovo account deletion" and include the account email so the account can be located.
Children's Privacy
Luovo is intended for ages 16 and older, subject to regional eligibility and any required guardian permission. It is not directed to younger children. Store ratings and service eligibility may differ by region. See the Terms of Use.
